Lekman Cocktail Recipe

"This cocktail was invented in May 2013 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Its name, ingredients, and colour are inspired by the eponymous Ikea® product. The recipe is the outcome of a rhetorical question posed while assembling Ikea® furniture 'If the Lekman were a drink, what would be in it?.'"

  • 1Pour lingonberry juice, vodka, and blue Curacao into a cocktail shaker. Add ice; shake. Pour into a lowball glass. Garnish with sour key candy.

  • Cook's Note:
  • If using lingonberry syrup, mix as instructed with water or sparkling water. The final product should be a pale purple colour. Very refreshing, great for summertime!
